Sa-Ka in the press..
SA-KA owner Salih Karaca explained that SA-KA has been exporting product to a number of countries, including textile giant Italy, ever since it entered the sector with domestic and export activities 10 years ago, and its gaining of the Chinese company Yamata’s representation for Turkey 4 years ago.
“We are participating in the biennial Izmir fair as SA-KA, and for the first time as Yamata’s representative. This is our 10th year, and we obtained the Yamata representation for Turkey 4 years ago. We overcame the economic crisis of 2001 through exports and now export to Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Macedonia, Moldova and various other countries. We especially provide cheap, good quality machines to small and medium-sized enterprises – and give our competitors in Turkey some sleepless nights with our market share increasing day by day. From 2003, we plan to begin local production of Yamata machines as well as prepare for exports to Central Asian countries, starting with contacts with Azerbaijan” stated Mr Karaca. Marketing Manager for Yamata Machines’ Izmir dealership Konfex, Murat Yelli said that they were delighted to be working with SA-KA and Yamata. Stressing that attendance at the Fiar had exceeded expectations, Yelli stated “This is the first time we are at the Fair since we started work with SA-KA and we have attracted more interest than we had predicted. And we expect even higher interest on Saturday and Sunday”. The Fair is open until 29th September.
